Gustavo is an experienced investor and advisor in the field of tech startups. He joined Globant in 2005, when it was still a startup about to receive its first venture capital investment, as Finance and Treasury Manager, optimizing the company’s scalability. Following Globant’s initial public offering (IPO) in 2014, Gustavo supported the mergers and acquisitions team.

In 2018, he co-created and led Globant Ventures, Globant’s Corporate Venture Capital arm, dedicated to investing in innovative startups. Additionally, Gustavo is a founding partner and Vice President of Urucap, the private equity association in Uruguay.

Gustavo also serves as a professor of MBA and Digital Business at the Universidad de San Andrés. He holds a degree in Public Accounting from the University of Buenos Aires and currently advises entrepreneurs and funds on venture capital investments.
